It really sounds like you are trying your best! Working, trying to stay in a hotel (though it cost you), etc. Atlanta is obviously more affordable then NYC, but the social services and things like shelters are more lacking. You mentioned from NYC - can you go back there until you stabilize? If not, here is a list of Fulton County GA shelters for the unhoused.

I lost my van after because I couldn't afford the amount the cost was too high for me at the time... I do personal cleaning gigs for income I bring in enough to live off and get by. I stayed in the hotel for 3 months which took a toll on my pocket leaving me no option but to turn to strangers and ask to lay my head during this time. I have endured more than I realized would. It was an awful experience and most degrading feeling I ever felt it's heartbreaking how I have been treated and surrounding is filled with negativity. But I would be sleeping outside otherwise, so I deal with what it is but understand this is a road to the unexpected
I really need a place in Atlanta area that's safe instead of having one eye open while I sleep. I I'm at the lowest point in life and staying strong. I have no family nor friends in Atlanta GA (as I am from NYC) and I feel helpless. I know if I was able to get to a stable place I would be able to achieve so much more and maintain a life to keep everything up. I just need assistance to be able to show how serious I am.
Right now, I feel I'm in quicksand being pulled down deeper and deeper so I’m reaching out for assistance in any way possible way.... Please I’m pleading this is very hard for me to even ask but I really need help .... It's been months and I can't do it alone anymore.
