It really sounds like you are trying your best! Working, trying to stay in a hotel (though it cost you), etc. Atlanta is obviously more affordable then NYC, but the social services and things like shelters are more lacking. You mentioned from NYC - can you go back there until you stabilize? If not, here is a list of Fulton County GA shelters for the unhoused.

I tried my hardest to get on my feet alone but realized I have to reach out for help because I truly need it. I tried to stick it out by sleeping in my van for 4 months until the transmission went out causing it to break down while being stuck parked. Eventually it was towed out of my control.
