My name is Melanie. I live in Plymouth Massachusetts. My water was shut off a couple weeks ago. They will not turn it back on unless I have payment in full. I am a diabetic applying for Social Security disability and I get $274 a month in cash and $154 a month in food stamps. I am on EAEDC through DTA for my disability.
Hi Melanie,
Maybe $~450 per month is not enough to live anywhere - much less Plymouth MA and quite frankly anywhere in costly MA. While you get benefits from DTA, as I am sure you know they will not cover your bills, even water, But anyway, you need to reassess your life and finances, and while you do that, look here for
help paying bills in Plymouth County.

I'm a diabetic and I need my water on but because I am not on Social Security yet they don't have to turn it on for me. I need help with the water and food and clothes. I would be greatly appreciated.
Can you please get back to me. I have called churches. I've called everything around here in my town. Nobody has funding. I am a single mother with twins. My kids had to go stay with my parents because I have no water or food. I want my kids to come home. I can't live like this. I've been trying to make payments but with a little bit of money that I make I have other bills I have to pay so it's difficult. Can you please help.
