I contacted the Helping hands program but they said that I needed a recent court ordered eviction even though I have one in the past it did not county. The owner of the place where I reside wants to help me by not putting an eviction on my credit but I have to move in 3 days or they will be forced to keep that eviction on my record which means I need a new apartment that will accept or work with me on that past eviction. Please help me. I have 2 small kids. I don’t have the deposit of $3000 but I have a job. I don't have any other help. I just need help with the deposit. Please.
Hi,
What you are looking for is called second chance housing, as some landlords work with people that have evictions. But you also need a kid friendly apartment from second chance too, which may be a little harder. But maybe the resources listed will help. https://www.needhelppayingbills.com/htm ... tions.html
