That is great you are helping out your brother! If he was injured at GE, and is not disabled, is he on social security disability? Seems that would be the case so he would at least have some income (though minimal). I am emailing on behalf of my disabled brother who is waiting on his disability and needs money to pay bills in Spartanburg SC. He was denied once in 2023 and his second hearing is March 2025. He worked with GE in Spartanburg SC and Greenville and was injured on the job.
He did receive a settlement but that is all gone. He is currently living in our Mothers House and she recently died, and the house is going on the Market next month. He has no income, no 40iK and is behind on all bills. The only thing he has is his pension he can receive at age 62 from GE. He does have the card to get his food. Please help us with this endeavor. He is 56 years old. He is on several medications that are costly.
