Hi Sandra
Great for you for trying to help your in-laws! While weatherization can help with some home repairs, it often has a waiting list. And it probably won't fix the kitchen or sink, etc. Try a USDA loan program or community action in Oklahoma, as both generally have programs that help fix a home for safety reasons, and what you describe seems like it would qualify. Find the OK community action programs here. https://www.needhelppayingbills.com/htm ... _agen.html

Looking for help with home repairs in Oklahoma

My mother in law lives in Bartlesville Oklahoma in an old home that needs fixing. She cares for her 2 grandchildren (8) & (4 months) and their mother who is "sober" for the first time in 8 years. She is on a fixed social security income. They have done OK with food and what not. Her kitchen sink is broke.
She doesn't have the income to hire someone to fix it. We can’t help, we are dead broke now. She needs the sink to clean bottles for the baby, cook...etc.  Is there anyone who can help with something like that? My husband said it is an undermount sink, and it needs stuck back up and sealed maybe a new faucet. It's just not something we can do, and it's been breaking over a month and she is at Her wits end. Sandra
