Hi, my name is John and I live in Atlanta. I am hoping we might be able to get a onetime assistance for a an air conditioner. We got the bulk of the electric bill for our old AC paid from Social Services as I am on Medicare, but we don't have the last $600 that is needed to pay for a new air conditioner. The lock out date is September19th, so this is time sensitive. if you could please reply even if you cannot help. I would very much appreciate that and thank you.

Hi Angela
There are several free air conditioner programs, and places for them, in Atlanta. If your patient is on Medicare (older, disabled, etc), in general they get priority too. We have information on all the free Atlanta GA A/C programs. https://www.needhelppayingbills.com/htm ... _fans.html

Hi, My name is Angela and I am a RN case manager here in Georgia.  I have a Medicare patient that does not have AC at this time.  She does have fans circulating warm air in her house but she is afraid to open her windows due to the crime in her neighborhood as well as her husband.  This particular patient was recently hospitalized for an assault by her husband.
Can you assist me on finding the resources to get her AC unit fixed or a working AC donated through community resources? She has like no money so needs a free air conditioner, even a small unit. Thank you so much for your assistance.  I would greatly appreciate any resources you may know of.
