Hi,
A couple things. Can he apply for Medicaid insurance, if his income is low enough? Or subsidies from the Affordable Care Act? There is also Peachcare in Georgia too. Anyway, in addition to all those options, there are also plenty of free clinics in the region. They are many in Altnata that give counseling, meds, check ups and more listed. https://www.needhelppayingbills.com/htm ... inics.html

Looking for free medical in Atlanta GA area

Hi, I'm hoping you can help.
I'm writing out of concern for my adult son, age 28, living outside of Atlanta in Georgia. He works two part-time jobs and neither one provides medical insurance.
He's had mental health counseling on and off when he was a dependent on my medical insurance. He's no longer eligible to be carried on my insurance and would like to get back into counseling/therapy again.
We've looked online at the Georgia medical benefit programs, and it's a confusing rabbit hole.
I'm wondering if you can simplify it and just tell us what Georgia program he might be eligible for. (?)
-He's 28 years old.
-He works part time and has no medical insurance.
-He needs mental health/counseling/medications.
