My name Lana. I have been waiting for unemployment benefits since last year. I had to appeal the first determination, but any tips on how to get past due of unemployment? Now I have been approved but only a week ago and since I've had absolutely no income since last year, my landlord has been more than patient. I'm trying to find someone who can help me with rent this past month and tips for the other unemployment I was denied. I owe as of next week on the first of the month 2 months which is $800 each month. Totaling $1600. I'm sure I will get payment within 3 weeks for unemployment benefits. So if I could even get help with 1 month my landlord would be ecstatic. Please let me know or point me in the right direction. I Greatly appreciate it and all you guys do for our community. Also, I live in Rockdale county. Thank you. Lana.

Hello, I just lost my job this past Friday and rent is due/past due. I have applied for unemployment but this has shown to be weeks before we hear an answer. As it seems I was denied before but it took them weeks to tell me. I am also applying for unemployment but again, this can take several more weeks. If I can get help with this month's rent it would give me some time to hear back from these applications or the result of the unemployment hearing without losing the roof over my head.
Please send information for help? Or help me address the denial of my past unemployment claims.
Thank you
Mechele
