The Seminole County Community Assistance Division is a great resource to call for information, and possibly cash grants. They do offer rent and mortgage assistance programs.
The phone number is (407) 665-2360.

There are numerous other agencies and assistance programs to contact as well.

Hello, I sure hope I have the correct address! I realize we
all have problems, but I am in an extremely bad situation! The person who was
staying with me took off with not only the car, but with augusts rent money! I
am disabled and I am terminally ill! I don't know what to do! PLEASE, is there
someone or some organization out there that will help me? I'm not looking just
for a handout, but, without some help I will be evicted from my home such as it

Hi, what county in Alabama? I normally do suggesst community action. Sometimes they have funds, but worse case they can usually advise you on your other options.
Try this link to see if your county is listed here. I have information on other contacts, charities, non-profits, and other agencies and programs in Alabama. If it is not here let me know the county and will try to provide/post other information.

I am needing assistance with paying my rent. I have 3 children still at home ages 8, 13 and 14. I work full time, but I do not make enough to cover our bills. We are fast approaching being homeless. I have no family assistance and no community assistance. Does anyone know of an assistance program in the State of Alabama that helps with rental payments? Community Action here is a joke so I cannot use that as a resource. Thank you for any and all information.
