Disabled elderly parents

Request for any kind of assistance or resources or information on how to get some financial assistance for my disabled parents that are elderly. My parents are needing assistance with mortgage and also special type of food to eat, such as Ensure and USDA commodities for older people. They also need any kind of assistance with paying some bills? Both have several health issues in addition to the disabilities. Any help would be greatly appreciated. They have been trying to get help, but no one is able to help them as they keep getting turned away, even from social security with disability.
Thank you for your time and assistance in this matter. What do elderly disabled people supposed to do?

Hi,
If they are disabled AND elderly there are absolutely programs for them. They include disability (such as SSI or SSDI), Medicaid, Social Security retirement and more. In fact there would be so many options for a disabled, elderly person it may be challenging to know the sequence of applying to them. But try an Agency on Aging center for advice on that, and get details here. https://www.needhelppayingbills.com/htm ... money.html
