Hi, my name is Hester, I’m a single mother of 3 of my sisters kids who are living in crisis every day and almost homeless. I don't ask for much, just all help with keeping my Entergy service on so my family can have a warm home every day & a roof. I am asking for an assistant in LIHEAP and trying to get the right resources for the right help and I heard about Kinship or help for people that are not custodial parents. I's already a struggle. I am writing to seek your assistance regarding a pressing matter. I am currently facing financial difficulties, and my rent and utility bills is in arrears amounting to $3,700. As a single parent to a "son" of my sister with autism, ADHD, and ODD, this situation has become increasingly challenging for us. I am not even the legal guardian for my "son" but trying to help as my sister is an addict.

I am a noncustodial parent that pays child support and lives in Hancock County MS. I have what is considered a full-time job, but I am only allowed to work 36 hours a week. As of 2020, my gross income was $41565.59, but my net income was only $22647.74, which means I lost over $18000. With that being said, I am doing my best to make ends meet and possibly get married but it seems impossible to actually make enough money to survive as a non-custodial parent.
According to every resource, I make too much money on paper, but my debt-to-income ratio isn't enough to get a loan. Are there any resources or help from agencies that I may actually qualify for? I don't want to lower my child support or do anything to mess up my son's income. I just have no idea what to do anymore. To make matters worse, my fiancé and I have complications with our health that we can't afford to pay for either. Any direction or advice would be greatly appreciated.
