Re: Psychiatrist treatment costs are high

Hello, my name is Danelle. My husband Jeremy and my son Jayden have lived in TX. My daughter Haley suffers from social anxiety and did not make the transfer to Coppell from Arlington until the start of her 6th Grade year. She needs therapy, but the Psychiatrist treatment costs are high for people with no insurance. It has definitely a struggle for her through Middle School as she did not fit in right away and has since been diagnosed with depression that she struggles with daily without the Psychiatrist August 2018 she started at the 9th Grade Center and I can honestly say this first half of the school year is the first time I have seen her really feel accepted and seem happier than the 3 years past.
My son is ADHD, Dyslexic and we believe him to be on the low scale of Autistic (the school denied testing for this after giving them a Doctor’s recommendation so we are not certain). He too does not do very well socially either and really does not do well with changes. Now that you have my history, the reason I am writing today is due to the economy, the career I have chosen has taken a BIG hit as I work in the Mortgage Industry. I have now been laid off 3 times in 6 months, each of these 3 jobs I was only at for a month (the last time I was fully employed with no job gap/layoff was July 2018) – with my last day of employment as of right now being November 28th, 2018.
My family's savings are depleted and we have no family that can assist us at this present time. My Husbands Car Payment is due currently for $575.39 for the 12/26 payment. My car is currently due for $2,321.25 (This includes November and December's payments of $516.89 + $548.42 + $1,255.94 in late fees = $2,321.25).
Most importantly, I do not know how we are going to pay our rent that was due on 1/1/19 in the amount of $2,600. My husband is working and trying to get as much extra money as possible however, Overtime has been frozen at his job that he has been with for over 8 years now. My son just turned 13 on Christmas day and we are currently using checks he received from Relatives for Christmas/His B-Day for every day expenses. We finally had a stroke of good luck last week when I was offered a Job pending a cleared Background Check. They are hoping it will be cleared by this Friday so that I can start on 1/14. I am doing my best to hold it together mentally but my kids can definitely see the toll this financial stress has taken and I worry we are going to be homeless before I even get to start my new job as we are in a Month to Month lease with our landlord. The stress on my kids is making their mental health problems even worse, and the need for Psychiatrist even higher but we can't afford the cost.
I have never asked for a handout or prayers in my entire life but I am completely lost right now as I know that neither of my kids can handle a change like moving school districts right now and I fear what is planned for us come January 1st. I know that your full amount of $2,600 will most likely not come from a single charity but I was hoping there was some funds put aside for situations like ours from multiple charities and any help is something because we are desperate at this point and I do not know what else to do for my family.
I did review the information your company has online about Psychiatrists fees and assistance, but I fear I may not be as computer savvy as I thought I was because I kept getting looped into circles trying to figure out who to reach out to for Dallas County (Coppell, TX) in order to request assistance on either our Rent or Car Payments. God Bless,
