Seeking cheap Handicapped friendly apartment

When my rent went up a year ago I started applying for places to move. I need wheelchair/disability apparatus' and need either an elevator or ramp to negotiate entering and leaving, so a handicap friendly apartment. As I applied and was denied places that I thought would work, I kept on to not be selected. The applications have all been non-refundable.
I have fallen 2 months behind so I need help for my arrearage which has climbed up to $3300. I will be evicted on the 25t if I can't get this to them. I am 66 years old and live at a Retirement/Active apartment. I need to now catch this up and stay a bit longer in order to save for another place. Application fees are not returned and some have been 50-75 dollars, plus a deposit. I get the deposits back but not these expensive application fees.
