I recently lost my job for The County of Santa Cruz in the Pharmacy Deptartment Due to funding. The Board of Supervisors closed us down in August of this year. They did transfer me to another department in the County at a 7% pay reduction and also considered a demotion. I've been with the County for 26 plus years.
Never though this could happen. With the reduction in pay I am having a difficult time stretching my pay check. I've had to change my taxes to get more money per month. I'm looking for short term assistance until I can get back on track to my usual budget.
