If you think the dealer or lender wasn't honest when you got the loan and can prove it / have documentation, don't just assume you're stuck with it. Since the balance is down to around $8,000, ask Santander Consumer USA. It looks like the number for them is 888-222-4227 but also check your statements from them to confirm. Ask if there's any hardship program or settlement option available based on everything that's happened
You may also want to file a complaint with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau at https://www.consumerfinance.gov/complaint/ if you believe you were misled during the loan process or even the BBB. If there really was fraud or false information used to get you into the loan, see if Legal Aid in your state can review the paperwork before you sign or agree to anything else

I feel a crooked decision was made against me concerning a car loan offered that was accepted in 2022 of $21,000.00. According to Santanderconsumerusa.com I owe an $ 8,000.00 bill left over for the car payment.
I have already paid $ 6,500 in fundings out of the auto loan borrowed of $21,000.00. I was subject to paying high monthly payments. I was offered no negotiation dealing damage done after the pandemic of consistent job losses. I was told an applied handshake was involved when it was not just for the crooked representative to get over. I traded in a lemon Suzuki XL7 2008 for which I had a car loan, and it was a Lemon Chevrolet Malibu 2014. I been trapped off with pure manipulated crockery.
