Hi Natasha
All those programs / benefits vary by state and other factors. As Green Card holders obviously have limited resources. But if you are married to a US citizen, as you indicate, that can help. But try a lawyer for tips on your Green card and applying for help, and look here for a free lawyer in your state.

Hello, my name is Natasha. I am a mother and wife and a immigrant but I have a green card while I wait on citizenship. My husband is currently out of work and fighting disability. He’s got cancer along with a bunch of other medical issues. I am currently bringing in the only source of income and my hours have dropped to only 14-20 hours week. If he dies, and I am still only a green card worker, I am afraid of deportation not to mention him battling the cancer.
I have rent and electric both coming up very soon and I would like to know if I could have assistance paying the electric bill. I am currently not getting any kind of SNAP, so I must pay out of packet until I refile and wait for them to call me call and do an interview. If I could get some help temporarily with food also my family could really use that. Thank you for your time.

Good day Sir/ Madam
I am a single mum through domestic violence, I am in need of cash a assistance with my Green card application for myself and my 2 children, the Hone Affairs cost is (1070$ )per person and total is (3110$). It can be paid direct to Home Affairs or to my Lawyer, details are available when needed. Whatever amount you can assist with for my green card s highly appreciated.

We have tons of information on help for immigrants, and some of the charities and non-profits will help with a Green Card too. Maybe even direct you to another job so you can get more money for that move. Good luck!

But his green card has expired, we are working on getting that renewed- submitting a fee waver required for his application. We don't have enough money to move in time (his job needs him here by 12/20/17).
Both of our jobs are in the Marietta area. Trying to find a way to get a place through some assistance. My parents apt is just too small for him to move here too.
