Hi,
I am an honorably discharged Service connected disability veteran. I am currently in a homeless program for veterans. I am blessed that I do still have my car although I am a month behind and cannot seem to catch up, but really what I would like assistance for is gas to get to and from appointments as well as group sessions. I cannot currently afford car insurance but I am trying my best to build my foundation and go up from there. Any advice, resources, etc. would be such a blessing for me.

My wife and I are still considered homeless after being asked to leave a facility for homeless Veterans. We are both Veterans and I am a disabled Vietnam Combat Veteran. We are living in a motel type environmental that is costing 40% of my disability income. My wife is working part time and going to school full time. Between school costs and past due bills we can't even afford to eat properly. We are at wits end.
