Government food programs for immigrants
I have no job and two children. I am recently separated from my husband and my food stamps got cut off because of paperwork problems. Both of my children are not biologically mine. My son is my step son whom I retrieved from Honduras but lives with me. My daughter, who is also an immigrant, is actually my niece and she has lived with me for almost 3 years. I have several health problems and can't work. I'm just trying to keep my immigrant family warm, keep them fed so we need food, and take care of them. We need assistance with our lights and water. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Government food programs for immigrants
One of the places to try, which may feed immigrants and refugees, is Feeding America. They are a nationwide organization that helps feed the poor, people with health problems, and really anyone in need. Also, look into welfare if you have no income, as that is a assistance programs that can also provide food for immigrants. Find more details on Feeding America anti-hunger programs.
