What state do you live in? Your best option may be your states LIHEAP program. They usually have a crisis intervention program that provides immediate aid.

I am currently 8 1/2 months pregnant and I have a older daughter that also lives with me. I am in need of some assistance with getting my electric bill paid. I have a shut off notice for Dec 16th. I went to the local DHS and they paid $100 on my bill I still need to come up with at least $300 on the bill. If you have any suggestions or help with my bill, please let me know!
