I have been disabled since 1986. I'm on SS with a lawyer trying for more money and have recorded a monthly check and use HUMAN insurance.
I'm getting older I've had sickness in my life I'm so I'll now I can't cope.
People see that the I'm weak and they take advantage of me.
I would have asked for legal aid from a lawyer for my case years ago but I had enough of my own money to make ends meet.
Now my money has been stolen I was in the hospital 5 times this year.
The last time my power plant shut down. Heart all organs. It didn't come back on correctly
I'm too feeble to walk without falling my hands and feet are cold from lack of O2. Can't digest food properly.
I need assistance as disability not enough. My electric is on the verge of being cut off permanently.
Water and gas are next. It's almost Christmas.
Anything you can do to help would be greatly appreciated.

There are SSI disability advocates that can help with the application process. Some are lawyers, others are just specialists that focus on SSI. You should not have bought a mobile home if you already had financial troubles, and that was a bad decision. As far as the hearing for the disability, try an Advocate for SSI applications. they can often represent a person during the hearing.

I had to resign from my job after almost 15 years, due to medical problems. I resigned, March 14, 2015. Since then, I have used almost all of my 401K to live on. May of this year, I purchased a mobile home and now have less then a $1000.00 in my bank account. My parents have been helping me the last 2 months with the lot rent, electric, gas and water and the $200.00 per month that I still owe on the mobile home. I also owe Federal and State taxes, which I can not pay.
I did apply for disability, but was denied twice. My lawyer says that a hearing before the court may take place in December. I do currently receive food assistance.
What can I do or need to do? Who do I contact, if anybody? Please help!
