Hello,
My name is Terri and I’m a 100% disabled veteran currently living in California. Due to the high cost of living here, I’ve made the difficult decision to relocate to the Knoxville, Tennessee area this October. I’ll be traveling there in August to search for housing.
I currently have a HUD-VASH voucher in California, but I’ve learned that I am no longer eligible for the program in Tennessee due to my VA compensation. While I am thankful for my benefits, this sudden change in housing support has created a financial challenge for me during this transition.

Who are you going home to? Can they not help you?

Hi, I have no idea who to contact to get help for this. I'm 18 and pregnant and need help getting back to Rock island Illinois. I have no family that can help me and no one to help me here in Ohio. I've looked online the past two days for ways to get free rides or some type of travel aid! Please help me find a way home or someone who will help me home. I stuck in Ohio. Buses do run here and it will cost 155$ to ride the Grey hound. Please help me fine help. I have nothing here and just need to get home.
