I was wondering if you could give me information on the different types of assistance available in my area. I live in Brazoria Texas. I am a single mother of five and have another one on the way. I am currently about to be jobless and homeless. My income is child support (about 600 a month) and if I do not lose my job I get about 750 to 900 a month from that. I need help in the worst way and do not know who to call.... Please help. I have about a week to figure out something. Please help. I have no where to go.

We do have information on job training and homeless prevention, in all cities and areas. We have tons of agencies to call as well, and many will have helpful staff that offer information or financial aid. Try the main site, and find information on bill paying programs.

Hello, I'm in desperate need of help with my rent, paying off a small debt as well as getting help for my 4 month old puppy who will eventually be needing food. Prior to this happening, I had a good source of income (IRA), but after getting into my new place (apartment) and having to pay all necessary bills I will eventually be running out of funds to pay pretty much all bills even though as of May 1st I will be employed part time as a nanny at $12 an hour.
My issue is that I'm in a real need of help with rent and anything else I can possibly get help with in the area where we live. Also, if I were to be evicted from my apartment because I don't have the funds for rent for the 1st of the month. I'm afraid that I would end up having to go back and live with my mother, who happens to be extremely abusive and can not and will not go back to that environment. Anyway, if someone from the area could possibly get back with me on this it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks again and have a blessed day. Yours Truly,

Well, it depends on what are you live in. We have many programs listed, some are government and others are non-profits. Some help pay rent, some offer referrals, or others provide more basic needs such as food. Or try a jobs program in your area. So select your state from here and go at it. http://www.needhelppayingbills.com/html ... progr.html

I’m not finding anyone who can help me.
I have been turned away from United Way, the Salvation Army number I found in St. Joseph told me they couldn’t help because of where I live and Catholic Charities didn’t have funding available.
Can you please help me find someone in my area help.
We also have lots of medical bills from my son’s back surgery and on an already strained budget we’re in dire need!
