New to South Carolina and need a job

I have just recently moved to SC. The place that I was to move into fell through on my trip down here. I ended up getting a place that was more money that I had planned. I have paid my first months rent and deposit. I have not found a job yet and may need help paying August rent, but I really need employment here. I'm very afraid I may be without a home if I cannot pay my rent. Please help!!
