Get help with paying bills or free stuff.

My wife and myself are both on Social Security and she has some very bad health problems. She at present is in a nursing home under rehab. We are told if she leaves and comes home Medicaid will stop or we need to spend $1600 spend down to keep it. We need to find out our options, and where we can get help. $1600 is not a option! Please send all the information you feel we could use.
I have VA helping me she has Medicaid, as long as she is in the Nursing Home. She is on around 20 Plus Prescriptions.
