Hello,
My name is Katrina and myself, and my roommate are in desperate need of coming up with $2,600 to not be kicked out of our home in 5 days. We live in Salem, Virginia. I am looking online for four other assistance programs, and I really hope and pray that you all can help us. I am a mother of two and separated, then I got hurt at work so missed work. My roommate and I, Linda, both work full-time jobs and unfortunately, I just recently started back to work after getting over the injury. Linda works two full-time jobs, and her health is decreasing with time. I am 33 years old, and my roommate is 53 years old. I'd like to thank you in advance for any help given.
Thank you and I do look forward to hearing back from you.
Katrina

Iowa does have some agencies for rent and similar needs. If you applied for victims assistance, does that mean you are injured from a husband? Or fleeing from DV or abuse? As some charities will also offer programs for those situations. As far as other help, locate eviction prevention in Iowa.

Hello, I live in Burlington IA. I was recently the victim of assault and am seeking help from whoever can give it. I have injuries that prevent me from working and I don't know how I will pay my rent. I've already applied for victims assistance but that could take some time. Please respond as soon as you can and let me know what options are available to me. Thank you so much in advance.
