You did not say the state, as most utility help is state specific/local. So try this for you and your mom, our general list of utility programs by state.

How much could your utility bills be if SSI disability payment can't even make them? Talk to your utility company as well for some type of payment plan for a medical reason. Some offer discounts for oxygen or similar reasons. But also explore the financial support that disability may offer, and find disability program information.

Help with this month electric bill. Husband on 24 hour oxygen and I list my job due to an injury currently applying for SSI. My husband receives SSDI. We are on food stamps and medical needs caused us to have a financial hardship. We have an 8 year old grand child we are raising from birth. We just need help for this month as after then I am trying to find work. Thank you for any help you can provide.
