Anyway to get a free train pass

I am a full time student in NYC and I am finding it difficult to support myself at my current job. My mom has to pay for my brother's tuition and he does not have a job. Because I have an off campus apartment I need help in rent but the biggest thing is my train passes. I have to purchase two different ones which are both over a hundred dollars each for a monthly unlimited pass. I have no idea where that kind of money is coming from. I need help.
