Gas leaking from pipes

I live in Jackson, MS and our gas was turned off due to gas leaking from the pipes under the house. We have to get a certified heating and cooling plumber to fix this as required by law and it's very expensive. There are four living in the household and one is an 75 year old senior. The total household income is $1351.00 for a month (low income). Please send me any information for financial aid for this emergency.

If the gas line is out in the street, then the utility company technically needs to pay for the fix.
