hello my name is maria, i am 36 yrs.old and a single mom of a girl and boy. i live in concord, nc. i really need some help with getting my utility bill caught up. my power is due to be cut off at any time. i am on ssi and i get a little bit of child support. my current rent is $500.00 and it takes every bit of my child support just to get by, phone & power, my power bill got extremely behind because my child support was delayed. my past due amount now is $430.41. i need help bad. please help me from getting my power from being turned off. i am doing this for my kids. please help me. my email address is maria5281973@yahoo.com, only serious inquires need to reply.

Duke Energy has a Moratorium, which is a prohibition against disconnecting utility service to residential customers that meet certain eligibility requirements that are established by the North Carolina Utilities Commission.
