Here are some light bill assistance programs in Florida
Florida Power & Light Company has the Care to Share Program, which provides energy bill assistance to people who are unable to pay their electric bill. A household may receive assistance of up to $500 for electric service, but they can only get this once in a 12-month period. Progress Energy has the Energy Neighbor Fund, which will help Low-income families that are facing unexpected high utility bills and they can receive help through the aid fund.
