What city do you live in Alabama? There are some charities and other organizations that can help with water bills. Try a community action organization.
Chambers-Tallapoosa-Coosa Community Action Committee is one, Community Action Agency of Huntsville/Madison & Limestone Counties, and is another
Community Action Agency of Talladega, Clay, Randolph, Calhoun & Cleburne Counties

Re: Water Bill in Alabama
I recently lost my job and have had a difficult time finding another one. My water in Birmingham Alabama was shutoff today because I couldn't pay the bill and I'm trying to find out where I could get some assistance with that. I have managed to find a new job but I won't be able to start till the 24th and I'm struggling in the meantime.
