My family and I need assistance in paying our water bill that is $248.31 or it will be disconnected soon. We haven't been working much little bit of hours and we have our 84 year old grandfather whom we live with here in Alabama. If you can please assist us really appreciate it, and thank you very much.

Yes, we have a few options. You can call a non-profit in the area, charity organization, or government programs for financial assistance, advice, or reconnection services. Find a listing of
Jefferson County Alabama assistance programs and non-profits.
The second main option may be looking into grants, weatherization, and other services offered by your utility company. Depending on who the company is, you can find a listing of them here.
