Ex con needs money for place to live and pay rent

Have recently been released from Federal prison after serving 13 years. I have no community ties or financial resources to secure residence (1 bedrm apt) in Cedar Rapids, IA afor 12/1/11. Also have severe bleeding disorder and am waiting for approval and in statement of disability benefits which will not commence in time to use for securing residence.
