Use this link to find how to get help in Kennebec Maine. While not sure if they can repair or replace your furnace, I think you call the places and ask. Each town in Maine also needs to have a so called general assistance program, so you can look into that. try places like the Kennebec Valley Community Action Program. they are a great resource to learn about assistance, and sometime they can provide financial aid themselves. (207) 873-0158 Ask them about furnace programs. Also try calling Catholic Charities of Augusta Maine at 242-2721 for information and advice, and maybe cash aid too.

I called the place where we get our fuel through heat assistance and they asked am I prepared to pay the technician today? I said NO that's why I get HEAP. There are no funds available at this time for furnace repair!!! Where do I go? I am disabled and am having 16 vertabrae fused together in February-spinal fusion- We live in Kennebec county, Maine. HELP!
