Yes, you are behind now and are definitely facing an emergency situation. Some programs do exist, and the fact you have a child may put you a little higher in line for help. Find our listing of programs that offer emergency funds for paying rent. It is a guide by city.

In order to be effective in our reply, and where we direct you to go for rental assistance, we need more information on what state and county. Until we have more details, use this resource for emergency rent help and funds for security deposits.

From this page you can learn about HUD, section 8 vouchers, and a number of low income housing and rental programs for the needy and low income. Good luck.

The landlord has gave me a little time to come up with the money and so far haven't been able to find it. I called some local agencies and churches in my area and they are all out of funds. I really don't know what else to do. I really don't want to have to move or get put out. The landlord said that I have until the 1st of January to get the money or I have to move. possibly my stuff will be put out side on the curve and I really don't want that at all. Im so scared and worried. Is there any way that you can please please help me or know any where else that I could go to get help as soon as possible.

There are so many emergency rental assistance programs out there it is incredible. the challenge is that the demand is so high and many have limited funding, so they can't help everyone who needs it. The goal of them is to prevent homelessness, evictions, and and really keep people in both safe and affordable homes, apartments, and living conditions. Find the ways to get rent help.

Here are our Texas assistance programs, and if you select your town, city, or county from halfway down. Are you collecting unemployment, and if it takes time, hopefully your landlord will provide you some time to collect your first check and paperwork to go through. Also, in Texas try calling the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs (TDHCA) at 1-800-525-0657 as they run some various mortgage, rent, and housing assistance programs for income qualified state residents.
Find our
Texas assistance programs here.

We do have information on programs specific to
Columbus and how they offer emergency rent help. And if you have 3 kids you may be in line for priority funding, as most agencies do focus on families with children first. One of the leading non-profits is Columbus Urban League Housing Services Department, and a case manger can be contacted at (614) 257-6300, ext. 300.

Are you working too, and just finance cut back. You did not mention your state or city, so hard for us to be specific. Use this resource for general assistance programs, including rental help.
http://needhelppayingbills.com/html/get ... _rent.html Look into homeless prevention, call your local community action agency, Salvation Army, and other charities. Some people can sometimes even get funds from your local church.

That is great that you borrowed some money and already paid it back. Since you have shown your willingness to repay a debt, anyway to borrow the money again from the same source? Sometimes people will do that if you have shown in the past your strong credit and repayment history. If not, then find other Michigan rent and housing assistance programs here,
http://needhelppayingbills.com/html/mic ... grams.html at this resource. It is a great listing of state and local programs.

That is great that your landlord is willing to work with you. And that now you are looking to compensate/repay your landlord for that compassion. Why will someone now hire you at that age? Was that a typo? Anyway, in the meantime, use this for
Birmingham Alabama rent assistance, as dozens of charities, non-profits, and other organizatiosn focus on this need in the Jefferson County Alabama area. Places like the Birmingham Helpline Christian Outreach Ministries, Inc. which can be reached at 833-7712

I am not from Birmingham Alabama and have no family to get support from. This situation has caused a great deal of stress and I feel I need to talk to someone concerning my mental health. I was forced to move to Alabama from New Orleans because of Katrina years ago. I can not afford to go home and can't afford to stay. Need a job but at my age of 30 no one wants to hire a person of that age. I is nice to get help but a job would be best.

That is great that found another job. Not too many do so quickly. Anyone loan you some money over short term? Also maybe look into some short term
financial assistance in Dallas with paying rent and other bills, such as the Dallas Housing and Human Services Department which runs homeless prevention and emergency rent programs (972) 721480
