Good for you to look out for your friend. As we have many charities, stores, etc. listed that may offer free furniture in an emergency. Usually things like beds are higher priority too, as agencies do want people to have a place to sleep.

I live in League City, Texas and I recently had to get myself and my two children out of an abusive situation. I then was diagnosed with blood clots in my left leg. And then I was in a terrible car crash that had me life-flighted to the hospital with a broken femur bone and neck injuries. I am hoping to find out any info for housing, furniture, couches, beds, money, etc. I can on getting any help for bills and rent. I also am in need of furniture as we had to leave everything.
I just needed to get my kids and myself out of that abusive, alcoholic situation. We have been barely getting by as I then had all of these medical problems. Can you please send me any information you can on how I can get any type of help? We have literally nothing. I do not even have a vehicle or any furniture to put in our apartment. I do have one queen size bed so we do not sleep on the floor. We do not even have a couch to sit on. I hope you can help and or direct me to the right direction; we are in desperate need of your advice too. I look forward to your return response. Thank you,

Hello, I live in portage county Ohio and I'm struggling really bad. I have two children. I need furniture as in beds for my children, TVs and help with my bulk fuel and section 8 voucher. I can't afford to heat my house with fuel and was also looking at putting my children in private schools but don't have the money. Is there grants or free money for single moms to get furniture?

Yes, generally a thrift store will give furniture for medical reasons, and cancer should qualify you. So call St. Vincent de Paul, as we are not them. Also try a medical loan closet as well.

To whom it may concern:
I'm 23 years old. I have 5 children ages 5, 4, 3, 2 and 1. I am desperate for help with bunk beds and mattresses as well as other bedroom supplies. My kids have 2 sets of bunk beds. But no mattresses. The bunk beds are from big lots.
The bottom on each set, needs a full size futon mattress. The top on each set needs a regular twin size mattress. I am Not from here. But I recently moved to Huntsville Alabama. I don't know too many resources. But I am trying to get car seats for my children. So they can attend school. I really need assistance. Please! Have a blessed day. In Jesus name! Amen.

We have information on places you can get help from. Namely, try a free furniture bank. Most of these are charity run. Depending on donations, there may be beds, couches, dishes, and everything else you need as well. You are welcome as well.

I have a friend who is in need of furniture. Due to job loss my friend had to send all of his furniture back to rent to own center. He has no bed frame, mattress or living room furniture. He is actively job hunting and is in need of help to get back on his feet. I was hoping reaching out to you that he may get some sort of help.

I have no job or transportation at the moment. I have a 2002 Yukon XL and it has been down for 2 months as my wheel axle went in my gears stripping them and I am currently going through CPS. My kids are in foster care as we had no furniture for them. I have to take classes and find a job to get them back home with me. I do receive food stamps. My light bill is due this week and I have no money. I stay in low income apartments. I just found out about this page and services through a neighbor. Is there any way you guy can help me? I also need furniture in my apartment as well. What steps do I need to take or what services do I need to call?

My job went very slow so we can't afford furniture right now. I just applied for a new job but it takes three weeks to get paid. My rent is due the 10th of this month. I've been there for two years. This is the first time this happened.
Also with my disabled daughter I had to have a new job. Please contact me to see if I can get any help. I also need clothes and furniture in my kids room. I will be so happy.

Please provide me any resources for the state of Nevada that would help low income families. I'm in need of help with getting furniture right now as we are sleeping on air beds, because I just can't afford to buy beds for all 5 of my Children and myself. I do work but I'm having a hard time buying food to last the entire month and cover rent and other expenses. My car needs to be repaired but I can't afford the deductible I have to play with the warranty let alone has every week. Please just send whatever information you have. Thank you.

Currently I am staying at a shelter. A volunteer is working on locating an apartment for me as soon as possible.
My question to you is which organization in the North Shore has the cash assistance moving voucher so I can utilize these funds to purchase items I will need to help me furnish the new home. I will also need additional things that other places like St. Vincent De Paul or others will donate.
Also would you have a list of other programs that you feel will help make my move as stress free as possible. I was told per the Board of House three months I had to vacate my apartment where I lived in Salem. I was told that day due to several problems with the apartment one in particular mold and I also fell down the entire flight of stairs that ended up a hospitalization from a broken back.

I would like to know if there is some kind of assistance for people who are in need of beds for their children.
Please let me know if there is some kind of voucher program or of some place that can supply 3 beds for 3 children living in Schenectady New York. The are very low income the children have out grown their totter beds. They receive Medicaid and food stamps. Thank you for what ever help you can give me.

To the staff at St Vincent de Paul:

I live in Lehigh Acres, FL with my husband and daughters and two sons.

Two weeks ago I was diagnosed with cancer. Although it still shocking to my family, my life has changed drastically. Now I am home recovering from surgery. This is why I have decided to write to you. I am in need of a recliner chair in which I could lay back in my living room with my family while I recover from surgery and start radiation or even chemo. Would you be so kind as to help me obtain a recliner through charity or for a low price? I will be very appreciative for all your help.

Thank you for all you are able to do for the community.
