My family and I are 26 days late with our rental payment. We are facing eviction as the court has given us until Monday to pay the balance or they are moving forward with the eviction. My husband and I have three children. The youngest is two. My husband works but still falls short of the rental payments and I am diligently seeking employment with no success or access to affordable childcare. We have already moved within the past seven months to a more affordable community, however we are still struggling. Please help us avoid eviction as my children are already under a lot of stress. Thank you for your time and consideration in this matter.

My family and I are in desperate need of help paying our rent this month. It was due on the first, but given until the 13th and don't know if we will have a place to live next month. My husband is disabled. I was working, but due to medical conditions I was unable to keep my employment. Please if you know of any programs for North Carolina (Harnett County) I would greatly appreciate any help available.

I have not worked going on 3 years. My husband works and supports 5 of us. I am dealing with many different illnesses. Our home foreclosed, bad debt is garnishing portions of our 1 income and landlord is suffering from the loss of husband and wants renters out. We have no place to go.

I have a problem. I am in the process of trying to get disability. My only problem is that I am homeless now since I can't work. My fiancée stays at fresh start. He has a job but fresh start takes most of his check so we aren't able to save money or it will take forever to get the apartment we got approved for its six hundred dollars to move in. Rent a month is for hundred all bills paid if you could help I would gladly appreciate it. Please let me know. I don't know what else to do.

My fiance, son, and I are staying at a hotel in north Houston, TX. We just moved here. We are both searching for jobs and are running extremely low on funds, and I'm scared we won’t be able to pay next week. I don’t know what to do. Even if I got a job tomorrow I wouldn’t get paid in time. I don’t want my family to be homeless.

I need assistance with this month's rent. I am currently on maternity leave and I am going back to work next week. Unfortunately I am facing an eviction if I cannot pay within the next few days. Please help! I have a newborn baby boy and a two year old and we have no where to go if we get evicted. I can't be homeless with a newborn child. That would be terrible. I live in White Plains NY. I will be back on my feet next month but I just need help this one time. Thank you so very much!

I believe that Mankato covers a few different counties in Minnesota. Leaving one day notice doesn't leave any time to find help. Can friends "front" you some cash to pay the rent this month, and then pay them back later? If so, try this for [flash=

The bad thing is if I dont get by tomorrow my friends can't renew their lease. I live in Mankato, Mn and if somehow I could get help in anyway it would be a life savor. Thanks have a great day. Please write back soon.

Section 8 does usually have a long list, and can take many months if not longer. The demand for affordable, safe, and clean housing is enormous. I think try this for more information on section 8.
http://needhelppayingbills.com/html/sec ... using.html Maybe call some other agencies that are local to you. Maybe they can accelerate your application or provide other guidance.

Well at least you are aggressively looking for work and have some freelancing opportunities. Many people do not even do that, so good for you. As far as resources for utilities, rent, and housing help in Colorado, use this resource for
Colorado assistance programs and resources. Each county and city in the state of Colorado has various agencies and programs for people who are struggling.

My family has never struggled like this before. We are all about to be homeless if we don't get some help soon. Please, please help me find some more resources that will help us pay our rent and utility bills before we are on the streets dying from pneumonia in the cold snowy winter here in Colorado. Thank you so much. God Bless.

The government has a homeless / rehousing program. So people who are about to be evicted, or who are now homeless, may be able to get financial support from it. The program is listed here.
http://needhelppayingbills.com/html/hom ... nd_ra.html
Mostly they are run by the Salvation Army or community action agency, so those are the best places to call for applications to it.

Section 8 often times does have a waiting list. What we can do is provide information on potential places to call in Oklahoma and Muskogee Oklahoma, and you will need to call around, ask for help, programs, and that type of aid. Here are
Muskogee County assistance programs and agencies to call. Also use the navigation bars on the left menu on that like to find other options. In particular the rent section which sounds like is your need. There are places like the Muskogee Salvation Army (918) 682-3384 as well as ECAP (OKDHS Muskogee County) phone # (918) 684-5300.

I currently reside in Muskogee County, Oklahoma.
I am a single mother with a 9 year old daughter and am currently unemployed.
I am currently two months behind on my rent and there are late fees also. Thursday October 13th I was given a five day notice. I expect a legal notice probably Monday which means I could be literally homeless by Thursday. Court for that is on Tuesdays and you are given 48 hours no exceptions.
I have applied for section 8 and although my apartment and myself absolutely do qualify, I was informed that I owe approximately $375 to the housing agency in Fort Gibson, Oklahoma from 6 years ago (when my husband walked out the door and never came home) and until I pay that they will not put me on the list. It might as well be a million dollars.
I would very much like to stay in my current apartment because my daughter and I have been uprooted so much struggling to make it here. We love the quiet safe complex and she loves her school, which is the best elementary school in the district. This is a town with a high crime/addiction/poverty rate so finding housing and a school that are safe is no small feat when you live below the poverty rate, as we do. I have no family closer than 5 hours away, that being my mother. She is 67 and lives on a fixed income.
I lost my last job because I was being treated for skin cancer and had several complications. 2 weeks before my probationary period, and full union status, i was summarily discharged. The reason given was "you seem to have some personal drama in your life". Well, yes. Cancer is dramatic when you are a 42 year old single mom. I guess since it wasnt breast cancer it didnt count? Quite frankly after seeing that written down I will probably contact an attorney tomorrow to see if I have any recourse.
I am actively seeking full-time employment and I realistically expect to be employed at least part-time within 30 days.
I need immediate help so I am not evicted. I cannot pay the previous housing bill but if I could I would be about 60 days away from section 8 voucher assistance.
I also cannot pay the past due rent.
I think there is a program that can help but I do not know who to talk to. I pray this letter will reach somebody who knows who I can go to? Please.

Can you pay any money to your friend? Would they really kick you out so homeless? Regardless, here is information on some agencies in (use this link)
Aurora Illinois that can offer housing assistance, emergency rent help, and other aid. Call organizations like the Lazarus House at (630) 587-2144 or the local Salvation Army agency, and call at 630-377-2769.
