help with turning on electricity and water

Post by serkin06 »

Hi, my boyfriend just got custody of his 4 yr old son. We went and got a house and put the down payment and first month down. But now it leaves us with the issuse of getting electric and water turned on. We need to get it turned on asap so we can keep custody of his son. We live in polk county, fl. Please if there is anyone out there willing to help us out we would be greatly appreciative of it.

We have information on many utility assistance programs for Florida and Polk County. Many utilities offer their own financial aid programs and resources, and those can be found here. http://needhelppayingbills.com/html/flo ... ng_as.html

As far as non-profits and agencies to call in your county, find them at this link for Polk County assistance. A number of agencies and programs are listed here. You will need to call around to see if someone has funding, covers utility deposits, etc.
