Financial assistance for debts

Post by Mikey1 »

I'm in desperate need of some financial assistance ( more so with rent,to avoid possible court fees and eviction ).
I have no medical insurance,I was laid off months ago, I have been searching for jobs, I was able to get a part-time job however that is only commission based and I'm lucky if I make 100.00 every two weeks. I'm still looking for another part-time job to supplement my income. But until then the I'm drowning in debt.

I have never been in this situation before, I don't know who to contact or who to speak with to help me get through this month and possibly next month. I'm in desperate need of some temporary financial assistance, and some longer term debt counseling or support.

Can you please give me the information I need ??? I would greatly appreciate it, more than you could understand.

You can reach me via e-mail
Thank you for your time,

Sincerely,

Sounds like you need some holistic debt and financial counseling. Various non-profit agencies and credit counselors may be able to help you. Many of the agencies are national as well, so can help you where ever you live. Also maybe call your banks or lenders.
Use this link for many debt programs.

As far as your other expenses, just navigate around the main site needhelppayingbills to get information on rent programs, utility assistance, and even some jobs and income info. Because that $100 per week will not get you very far.

I am currently facing eviction from my apartment. I lost my job last years and although I have gained employment I have fallen so far behind in debt that I am unable to pay my rent. I owe over 10,000 on my credit cards, and have some medical debt as well. I'm interested in finding government programs that off assistance so that I am not evicted. I have tried local churches and organizations but most have limited funds. Also, how can I get rid of the debt and start anew?

Are you a member of a credit union? If not, look into signing up for one. They offer short term, lower interest rate loans. They are not payday loans, but they are a much lower cost alternative. I think it would be a feasible option to sign up for a credit union, get those lower interest rate loans, and then use the money to pay off those credit card bills and debts. It was a good idea to call those churches too. Credit union loans is the place to go to read more on this product.

We always say the best option for anyone is to call a not for profit credit counseling agency. Many of them can provide free consultations. After that initial visit, you can receive assistance from debt management plans, foreclosure prevention, and much more. Many programs are free or low cost. So they can help you deal with those loans and debts too.

We do not understand. Are you in Chicago now. Moving people from one country to another is not something you can get help with, but maybe you can for those debts and bills you have. Maybe even some support for those home payments. Try talking to an Illinois credit counseling agency, and look for the non-profit ones listed on that resource.

Hi, I saw the help I can get for helping with a debt that I have with a past Credit card I had. It did go in to collections and I need help getting that paid off or even dropped.....The reason for that is I am unable to work because I am disabled. So I do not have any income coming in for myself but my Husband works at Wal-Mart and he doesn't make enough for me to pay off my credit card and medical bills. What can I do, or who can I contact to get some help? Please feel free to contact me at my email.

There are many programs that may be able to help you. Can your husband get more shifts at Wal-Mart? As far as the medical bills, try a payment plan with your doctor. They are often flexible and may even reduce the amount you owe. But use this to find other possible options for help with credit card debts.

I have a family of 4 and 1 due in April 2019. I don't want to give a so story but I've exhausted all options and don't know where else to turn. Because of a conviction I have been unsuccessful in securing a residence and also way in debt. We're currently living in a motel which is costing me $1240 a month. That doesn't include about $50 a day (or more) to eat, and our normal regular bills. Car payment, insurance, cell phone etc. After taxes and insurance, I'm lucky if I bring home 1750 a month. It doesn't take long to go thru that and no room to stock money away for security deposit and rent once we found a place. Well I found a place and because I've had to borrow even more detb to keep us a float for so long I can't borrow any more to cover first month and security which is $1190. I have a 1 more weeks’ worth of payment for the hotel on a credit card then all my cards are maxed out and all I have is my paychecks...then other bills are going to suffer.
I'm in a never-ending cycle or rut and I need financial help. I don't know where else to turn and I came across your organization and thought of reach out. I'm confident that if I could get over this little bump in the road we'd be ok. Can you help us or point me in a direction of someone that can? I'm feeling really discouraged and can't handle any more run around. Thank you and God bless

Thank you for being available to assist me in my financial planning needs and financial assistance for my debts. I'm trying to buy my first home and because I have so much educational loan debt, even though they are in deferment status ....I really need a financial planner to help me to negotiate a low price payment plan (that will not increase within the next four to five years) that would help mortgage lenders to lend me the money for my home. Not only am I looking for a first-time home ownership program to get into, am I also looking forward to reducing my debt to income ratio to qualify for a home mortgage loan.
Thank you for contacting me.
