help with rent

am in lancaster county we are a small family both disabled on ssi/ssd our resourses are very limited need either a very low rent unit or help with rent to stay where we are. my child is autistic and does not do well with change so we would love to stay here we also pay utilites on top of rent so if anyone can help us we would really appreiaciate it am not sure how long we can stay in the unit we are in now so am hoping someone out there can put us in the direction for help thanks

Is that Lancaster Pennsylvania? If so try calling some of these agencies or non-profits. Probably the number one place to call for aid is Community Action Program of Lancaster (CAP) (717) 295-488. They are the local community action agency, and they help the low income and working poor. They may have information on a low rent unit in your area too.
