Hello my name is Farelya. I am a single mom of two boys in Tennessee and we are really struggling right now due to the loss of my health insurance from my reduction in hours. I am working currently but my hours has been cut and I am now falling behind and my kid is sick and I can't afford a doctor. Will a heath center help for for free?
I have been staying above water but now I am slipping...Our hours at WalMart has been cut recently and their is really no other jobs at the moment. t that we can turn to here is Memphis Tennessee, and now my kids need to see the doctor.
I do not get any other financial assistance that could help me meet the bills. ....We do not have many options in the state of Tennessee and really do not ask unless I really need it.
I am behind within bill and now the doctor is way too much, so hopefully some free clinic or something will help me. have o choose which one is the most important plus taking care of two kids so I start to fall behind on something else if you know of any places or if you could help us we would be truly grateful. Anything is appreciated Thank you

I am almost 3 months behind on rent my annual appointments, I've been having trouble keeping jobs because my back problems and leg problems so if y'all could it really help with this so I don't end up on the street I would really appreciate it. As if I can't gey my health care for my back I will lose my job. Thank you for hearing me.

Re: Where are the free health centers in TN
My husband's health isn't good. We average 1-2 doctors’ visits a week and the emergency room 1-2 a month and we need a closer heath center where we live for care. Medical bills are stacking up and we can't afford the health issues he has. With having to travel to Knoxville and Nashville for appointments, I'm having issues keeping gas in our vehicle. My cell phone will be shut off. He can't be left alone for any length of time. I've sold just about everything I can including my mother's ring to get us health insurance. I don't know where to turn for help. We live in Roane county in Tennessee.

Hi Farelya and Brian,
There are a number of free health centers across TN and they would be year all the areas you 3 listed. Many are "Federally Qualified" or are part of the rural government medical program. Look for those free TN health centers here. https://www.needhelppayingbills.com/htm ... _tenn.html
Also, the Department of Health may be a resource. They generally help people apply for Medicaid / TennCare, get basic medical like vaccines and more. The programs are listed here. https://www.tn.gov/health/health-progra ... ments.html
