Good evening,
My name is Kirsten. I am a single working mother of 2 young boys. I was inquiring about where I might be able to find assistance with paying utilities or even maybe a loan of money to pay my electric bill. We are days away from our electric being cut off and I do not have the means to pay it. I do have a full time job I have just had to pay money getting my car fixed unexpectedly and have also had to purchase school supplies for my children.
I know a loan is not idea but it is a timing issue as I will have money in one to two weeks. Than I can get my electricity on and repay the loan at that time.
Can you please let me know where I might be able to inquire for some assistance? Thank you for your time.

Re: Loan needed for electric bills
I will need a loan to help with the electricity bill. I have already gone to LIHEAP. I got the yearly help with them. They also said I am eligible to get monthly help, however the lady forgot and left my award letter in the copier. I needed that to get the monthly assistance for this month's payment and a loan will be good and I will repay with LIHEAP. I had to wait to get my social security in order to have copies printed. When I went back to them they turned me away even though I told them what happened, so I am stuck. I need an emergency loan to pay the electric company (Seco Energy) Inverness, Fl. Thank you for any assistance you can provide.

Re: Loan needed for electric bills
Hi,
Now of course a loan comes with risks (and some limited benefits), always be cautious if you want a loan to pay a bills, such as electric. But if you are sure you can pay it back with LIEAP money (without incurring interest), then that may be a good use of it. But look here for details on various loans to consider. https://www.needhelppayingbills.com/htm ... tions.html
