I have no heat and 2 small children

Someone PLEASE direct me to some goverment help...the heap office is unreachable, and can not get any help from local agencies...I need to get some heat in this house with these 5 degree temps!!! Thank-you!!

What state or County? Without knowing that hard for me to be specific. Did you try the LIHEAP crisis program? Here is a link to it. Also you can find who to contact in your area or state if you want to apply. Call community action agencies, etc.

I am a single mother, newly separated . I was employed by Hostess Brands for 2 1/2 years in Minnesota when they shut down last November. I was on unemployment and now I am making 7.75 an hour / 40 hour weeks. I get paid every other Friday. I am strapped for cash, I owe back rent of a total of a little less than 1000. My landlord is asking for all of my paychecks but I don’t have the money to keep my bills on, make my car payment or keep food in the house for me or my small child. I have taken out a couple payday loans but nothing is helping . I am the last person to ask for help, but I have to do something! If I miss one payment my landlord is sending me a 3 day notice to evacuate the premises. Please, let me know what program I could be enrolled in if any at all. This is really my last hope to keep a roof over our head.

Hi, I move in the area in April and my basement flooded. I lost a lot of my kid’s clothes due to this and I'm needing help to replace them. My landlord is aware but say it’s nothing he can do. I'm a single parent and trying to do my best in this life struggles. I'm working part-time and still depressed because I move here. I need my gas for the heat. Until I pay 300$ but it wasn't off.
I have to pay the bill before they transfer it so we been eating the best we can. Please help us and I would like to sign up for the Christmas story. Thank you God bless.
