free money surveys

I have been trying to make so called free money on these online survey sites but am struggling with this. It seems like all the surveys pay less than $1, and they may not pay at all. How can they do this, and still claim to give us money

Fusion cash is a great free offer, paid survey site. I have made about $300 from them over the last 4 months or so. They pay. And it has been really little effort.
