US citizens Living abroad

Post by Finch »

Hello, I’m not sure if I’m coming to the right place but I’m looking everywhere to help secure some funding for my family who are currently in a crisis. We are an American family of four who due to work,  are living abroad.  About 2 years ago, our eldest daughter, Izabella, age 12, started having some difficulties in school. While we’ve tried therapy, her issues escalated from social insecurities to depression, cutting, suicidal ideation, severe anxiety, Internet addiction and anger.  While we’ve tried everything available in the area, her psychiatrist believes she needs specialist help that is not available here. We’ve found a Christian therapeutic boarding school in the states that can help her with her emotional problems. The only problem is  these schools are very expensive. Due to her issues, she requires 24/7 supervision and daily therapy/counselling. We’d love to send her and she’s been accepted but the tuition is out of our reach. We really want to help our daughter but we realize we can’t do it alone. Would your Organization be able to give us a small grant towards this Specialized environment that gives us the best chance of saving our daughter while we are living abroad? If you don’t offer those types of assistance, would you be able to provide me with alternative organizations that may?
