Work Comp will only pay for me to see the Work Comp Dr for my torn right knee. They do not cover my costs to see my own dr nor to the grocery store. I have to find help to see a specialist that is 45 min from my home. I have to be seen for sleep apnea as I stop breathing a lot. Uber will cost me at a guesstimate over $30 one way. Is there any place that helps people who are just temporarily disabled? I have gone 5 months not being allowed to drive and am looking at 2 to 3 more months of no driving.

Hello, I live in north Columbus Ohio, near Lewis center and need some transportation. Me and my boyfriend have been dating for almost six years and we are pregnant with our second child. We have been living in a stressful 2-bedroom apartment with his mother and sister. His mother told us today that we must be out by tomorrow. We have NO WHERE to go. We WILL be homeless. And we don’t have the funds to pay the first month’s rent anywhere around here and we don't have transportation. I have been talking to a woman in an apartment complex that could have an apartment ready for us in two weeks but we have no funds to move in there and get started. Please help.

Maybe then you can look for, and find a job. But maybe the car programs will help get you on the path to stability.
