Hi, my family and I need help. We are experiencing financial hardship real bad, we are late on rent and can't afford it. We got an eviction notice last and now going to be served with another.
I am a casual working mum and my partner stays home with our two kids age 8 and 3 but have had no work cause shifts have been cut and no money to pay rent or buy food. In desperate need of help in South Carolina before I lose everything. Please help, I don't know what else to do.

Behind in rent and utilities. My wife just passed from our home in South Carolina, leaving me after 41 years of marriage having to find a way being on a private NYS government employee disability pension plan which is a minimal monthly payment of gross $1,058.00 a month. I gross too much in my pension to qualify for temporary assistance. All I get is the HEAP grant assistance and food stamps or $175 a month for just me. I am financially behind in everything. I have to downsize and find an affordable apartment just for me with not even a security deposit available section 8 is closed and I am on waiting lists for other apartments. I am 60 years old and disabled unable to take care of all of this by myself. It's not official but eviction will begin at the earliest May 15, 2015 which will give me a little bit of time to start processing any services that I may be entitled to and in need and qualify for.

Well, the food pantries in South Carolina may be able to help you there. Free groceries, clothes, hygiene items, and more. As far as moving to your sisters house, there could be volunteers and staff there that can direct you to a resource.
