Honorably discharged from Marines

Postby Booker » Sat Jan 10, 2015 10:23 am

I have been out of the Marine corps going on 3 months now of honorable service, and have been struggling to keep my car payment, phone payment and insurance paid as well as trying to get out of debt. It has not been easy finding a job to pay for my financial expenses and came across this website.
I am really hoping I can get a phone call from one of your representatives and hopefully obtain a grant to help pay off my bills and make my life easier to move on with coming out of my duty of serving my country. I really need help, and please call me as well as email me.

There are job training programs for veterans, so maybe use them to get help finding a job. Also, aren't there some programs offered by the Marines or VA you can use? Both financial aid programs and employment resources? Try them for advice too. Or apply to them.
As far as the phone call, we have numbers on the site to call. You need to reach out to the agencies for assistance, and try this here. Read more.

To whom this does concern,
May God Bless you,. I am a United States Marine, honorably discharged, and a determined struggling veteran. I lost my opportunity in 2014 truck driver do to working hard.I was diagnosed with having a liner never condition and complicated by interosseous nerve compression in my right arm and limited use from doing my job. I receive no workman's compensation just an offer to leave and after 18 months enough to pay the bills that it accumulated following that I was no longer able to function in that role for that company and have not been able to find work since.
I reached out for help I've called everybody I know. I visited Fort McPherson. I've applied for everything. I've lost my wife and family my home a bit of my place and understanding while waiting while trying deliberately applying myself to a process of poverty.
I'm reaching out for your help.
I appreciate it. I need and I asked you. Please give me a call and stop me from being on the street improperly avoid me from sickness and disease any further. I live in DeKalb County. I can't find help on my own. I don't do drugs. I don't have a mental illness. I'm not suicidal. I just need your help. I'm not running from law enforcement I'm just running to work to help that's available prayerfully and hopefully.

Hello, I served in the Marine Corps for
5 years and I completed my contract and came back home back in July when discharged. I
Then proceeded to get a job and now I am renting a house for myself
And my family i.e. mother, sister, and 2 little brothers.
I am the only One with any form of income and I recently lost my job due to some
Unforeseen difficulties and now we are at risk for eviction. Our court
Date is February 1 and rent is due by the 31st the total amount of the rent
Is 995.
If I could just get a bit of assistance to cover the rent this
One time we can take care of it from then on out if you contact me
Directly if you need more information. I Reside on Omaha Nebraska.

We do have many resources for veterans listed, including one known as Operation Stand Down. This offers financial aid, housing, bill paying assistance, and more. The non-profit is in Nashville TN but they operate nationwide.
