Hello, I am a 58 year old single woman who has been laid off of work and denied unemployment benefits. I am currently looking for work but in the mean time need assistance with my rent and small bills. Please let me know if there is any way I can receive any sort or assistance from the Missouri community action. My car is on the verge of breaking down as well so I may need assistance with that as well. Anything helps, thank you.

It depends on where you live. A community action agency operates locally by County. We doubt they can help with a car, but maybe they have suggestions. They can also provide you with information on local job centers if you are unemployed. Find Missouri community action agencies.
