HELLO. We and my disabled husband, 9 year old grandson and I are in DESPERATE need of: (1) gasoline to view the houses on our list which are for rent; (2) a motel to live in until we move into the house we find, and (3) food to eat until approximately one month after we move in when our income will be available to us for food, utilities, rent, etc. We have procured move-in costs from a government agency which assists veterans [my husband] but have no gasoline to travel from Los Angeles to Seattle or thereabouts where we can afford to pay rent. We do have a section 8 voucher.

My husband has bladder cancer and is disabled. He hasn't worked in 2 months. We have three children. My son is trying to get a second job; at no avail. I work 40 hours and too am trying to get a second job, at no avail. We are behind on our car payment. I need this vehicle for work and to transport my husband to doctor appointments and treatments.
We are also two months behind on rent. If you could find it in your heart to help we would appreciate it. If you need proof of diagnosis or any hardships. I can provide them to you. Thank you again and God bless.

There are many resources for the disabled. If he has cancer, did he file for SSI? While transportation is rare, there are places like the Salvation Army that may arrange for a ride. Many other options are available too, and locate more programs for the disabled.

I am in the process of getting disability. I have a 5.4 mm aneurysm in my ascending aorta and I am in stage 2 kidney failure. So I am in the limbo period between unemployed and disability. We recently moved back to my town so my family can provide my wife with a support system for her and my 2 year old son when I have surgery. We are in need of whatever help we can get towards our $300 rent and/our $319 utility bill. Thank you so much and God Bless.

Can not work due to health reasons. Need help to keep mobile home rented and electric paid. Trying to get disability. Wife used my automobile in a crime and now it has been impounded and I have no way to get around so I can get to Dr. and Lawyer visits to get all of this going. I really need help and am willing if I am approved for Disability to pay back monies, so I need a loan while waiting on the disability payments.

Are you sure you want a loan? We only recommend that if you are 100% certain of getting a disability check in the very near future. And having a guarantee is very rare. But if you need transportation or funds for bills, then explore all resources before borrowing money. But if you insist, try a low interest rate disability loan.

I am a 70% disabled veteran awaiting for a 100% disability. I have a family of 6. I have no job and my water will be cut off soon unless I bring it to balance; I was told. I have also, behind on my electricity bill and car insurance and my yearly tags are about to expire. My wife is making all the effort to find a job but no luck. I do receive a disability benefit but it is not enough to pay all the mentioned bills. Any help or advice on how to get any assistance will be greatly appreciated.

First and foremost, thank you for your service. We do have disability grants you can try. Many programs are aimed at helping veterans. They may help you and your family of 6 pay the bills and keep up.
